Ruminating on The Blob (1988)

The Blob 1988 is Frank Darabont's precursor to some of his great work and the origin of uniting the cast of some of his future projects with some familiar faces. One part horror, two parts Action and Adventure, this film ratchets up the comedy, gore, and explosions that the boys weren't ready for.
